Old Chicago in Evansville

I was very happy with the service and the food is always good. They have a great atmosphere and the servers are always friendly and attentive. I will continue to eat here!

Great menu and selection of beers

Old Chicago was awesome. We had some Italian nachos and a Thai pizza. It was great! I highly RECOMMEND!

Pizza on the pizza bar was good but some of it was cold.

One member of our party got thick crust and it obviously was not thick crust and they argued that is was. Never got a refill on my water. Food that I got was pretty good. It was mostly just an issue with our waitress.

Okay 4 stars because I'm from Chicago and the food was great but of course it wasn't the same. The pizza didn't have enough sauce and I was looking for a Chicago style pizza. Customer service was awesome. My waiter was one of the best. Our food arrived in a timely manner and everything tasted fine.

My order was not only the wrong size, but wrong pizza toppings. It was as if they had a messed up pizza and sent it with doordash! Not happy at all! Good thing doordash is not as horrible as Old Chicago, and credited almost all of the cost.

Food was amazing, service was spot on. Flight of beer shooters is an amazing way to try new beers without purchasing a full mug of something.

I didn't have a good experience. Buffett is available on weekends. 4 pizzas and breadsticks. Breadsticks were cold and I only liked one pizza that had. When it was gone it wasnt replaced with the same kind. Service lacked enthusiasm. She never took a dirty plate off our table. I asked for garlic butter and she brought me something not even the manager knew what it was. The manager ended up bringing me some but it was to late since I was already done eating. You get a choice of a soup or salad with the buffet. My salad had many bad peices in it. They do have the best ranch ive ever had. I wont be back any time soon.

I like to visit the old Chicago bar area for good pizza and a cold beer. .

My friends and I were looking for an Italian restaurant for dinner and decided eating here. We all ordered either a pasta dish or a pizza, also we got an appetizer. The appetizers where average, nothing special. All the main dishes were drenched in grease. I ordered a pasta dish that seemed microwaved and I had to dump out quite a bit of grease before I could start eating it (I mean like a river of grease pouring out of my bowl). The noodles were mush. The pizzas my friends ordered were also a grease pit. Upon leaving the restaurant three out of five of us started to feel ill. We all were feeling sick to our stomach, even though I hardly touched my pasta dish I was also feeling sick. I do NOT recommend eating here, I am normally not that picky with my food but I just could not handle this restaurant.

We loved it. We just moved to town last week and decided to give it a try for lunch and we were definitely NOT disappointed. We walked in and had zero wait time, the hostess was friendly and sat us right away, our server greatest us almost instantly, We relied on him when asking what to try. First of all he was great, happy friendly and knowledgeable, I wish I could remember his name cause I'd totally recommend asking for him. He recommended that we try the Italian nachos and the pepperoni rolls we got the trio sampler so we could try both we also got some cheesy garlic bread for the kiddo on it also very tasty and we followed it up with some very delicious pizzas and ceasar salads I got a personal thin pepperoni my husband got a personal deep dish pepperoni/sausage and my little girl got a regular crust kids cheese and they were all fantastic. We will definitely be going back.

Service: Service is usually always friendly and the servers have always been good about recommendations. Quality: I usually am always getting the pizza or calzones so that's all I know. They do both of those items well and I always leave satisfied. Price: The food is fairly priced and if you come on certain nights, you can drink good beer for great prices. Cleanliness: The store is usually clean. The bathroom area could use a little more attention but nothing to turn me off to the place. Overall: I enjoy Old Chicago and when I'm on Evansville I try and make a stop there.

Not too bad! I always like ordering off the menu better than getting the Sunday buffet.

Food was great! Waitress was fantastic! But once they started some trivia game over the speakers, I had to leave. It was way too much! We couldn't even carry on conversations!

This used to be my favorite restaurant in town before I moved away. I always do my best to make at least 1 trip when I'm in town. The food is always delicious (try the pepperoni rolls). The world beer tour is a fun way to try beer you'd never otherwise hear of.

2nd time in a row with absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Took 3 times to get a simple app that was edible and our entree came out extremely cold in the middle. The manager wouldn't even look us in the face or come to our table when asked.

We had 35 people and all our orders were correct and tasty!

This was the first time I have been in this restaurant.i have to say I was disappointed on many levels the food was average except the chicken fried chicken that was burnt crispy and had to ask for them to bring two different things off my order that they didn't bring to the table,the manager didn't seem very understanding about sending the chicken back and said he would simply take it off my bill,no apology or excuses.l the waitress did her job somewhat but had like zero personality. Seriously doubt I would want to stop in here again, not a very friendly atmosphere even from the manager and the food is priced a little high for the quality. This place gives Chicago a bad name,

Food was great! Kids meals are large enough for my kids to split, and food is fresh and staff is attentive. Management checks on tables and they keep it clean.

Expect to wait an hour for your food. Then, when they do bring food they only bring one persons plate so they either sit there and let their food get cold while they wait on everyone else's food to arrive; or they eat in front of the rest who are HANGRY from waiting so long. They did comp 11 bucks off my bill but I really would have traded that for a pleasant experience.

Well I had not been there in 2 years. Everything started well. Then the food came out.I ordered wings and individual pizza. Ranch was spilled on plate before it was delivered and the pizza came to me Chicago style deep dish but I ordered thin crust. Was never offered a second mix drink. Food was ok but service was lacking.

I am so sad to write this review. We came in town to enjoy an old favorite, but it was such a disappointment. We spent 40 minutes here and sat for 15 minutes before anyone waited on us. Normally we'd get up, but we weren't in a rush due to a friend lagged behind. Once we finally got service we waited another 10 minutes to get our drink. There was only 1 server and she was not even phased about the length of our wait.Overall the service and quality were poor. Now I'm very sad. This was one of our favorite spots.... and now it's not.

Bartender server was fabulous

No wait at 5:30 on a Friday night was a pleasant surprise! Waitress was fast to take order, bring food, fill drinks, and bring check. Ordered 3 appetizers as our meal and they were fresh and delicious. Pizza rolls were great as always and bacon Mac n cheese bites were to die for!

Order Cheese Chicago Thick Crust Pizza via Yelp, and it was amazing. Best pizza I had in Evansville so far...

Love it great food great drinks, service 7/10 food7/10 still great

Old Chicago in Evansville is one of those places that is always consistent. The staff is always professional, the food is always good, and the beer is always plenty. If you are looking for something a little different, give their Thai Pie a try; the cooked broccoli might seem like an odd choice for a pizza topping, but everything blends perfectly in the end.

This is what $11 gets you at Old Chicago. Cheap ingredients and "steak" "piled high". I think they piled it on someone else's plate.This is not what I wanted to order. We wanted the spaghetti pie, but we found out 10 minutes after placing the order that they were out. Then we waited another 30+ minutes for the food.The waitress was polite, so they get an extra star for that.

This is the best hang out. We love coming in for our pregame tailgate. Nannie, you're the best!!!! Great food, great beer, great time!

Amazing food and exceptional service!

Great deep dish pizza restaurant. They also have great calzones and strombolis. Excellent beer selection, 30 -50 beers to choose from. Service is usually dependable, depending on the time you visit, the wait time can be longer than you'd expect based on how crowded the restaurant is. My guess is that they try to run a lean staff, which can lead to poor service. The last few times we've been, service has been fine.

Little overpriced for subpar American Italian cuisine. Often had dirty plates. Bartenders were nice and so where the servers. Management was rude to customers and servers

Great burgers, fantastic pizza, and wonderful chicken wings. Don't get me started on the beer tour.

My daughter and I went there for lunch. We had a Thai pizza and a craft beer. Both are awesome. Our server was Becky. She took great care of us. We'll definitely go there again.

Went here for a work lunch. We were all late getting back because it took so long to get the bill after we got our food. The food was really good. They have an excellent beer selection. The bartenders are quick and knowledgeable.

They have great food and an excellent bartending staff. Was there on a Tuesday night and they have a really fun live trivia contest! Highly recommend this place!

Food was great, our waitress was standing around talking for 10 minutes before getting our drink order. When she brought our artichoke dip over a receipt was in the dip. The manager Tony took care of us. When our waitress brought the bill she made an unnecessary comment. Again the food was great and management knows what they are doing. It may be a one off instance, I believe any waiter/waitress can bounce back from a bad start with a little effort but she didn't even try. Her comment she made is what made my mind on not tipping. I don't tip bad service! I recommend getting the ale crust!!!

Human mistakes happen in the kitchen. Management was honest and accommodated me with delicious lasagna rolls. My pizza I ordered was perfect. We will come here again because of their integrity!

The service there was horrible I don't know if the server that night was having a bad day but she was rude.....also I never got all of the food I ordered and other people at my table didn't either. Then the server said I had to pay for something I didn't want and I'm like no I don't.....long story short I wish I could give them no stars because of how bad the service was.

Salads are so good! Comfortable atmosphere. Enjoy going for after work drinks
